Home improvement project includes gas barbecue

You either love it, or hate it DIY is a good past time if you are bored, some people love to indulge in changing the style of their house. Some people do it on a regular basis, others hate it and choose to do it only when necessary, others pay for the decorator to come in, more expense but less hassle. Some people spend hours in the garden installing additional extras, such as gas barbecue (gasgrill), ponds and outdoor lighting. This kind of renovation is good for those who enjoy outdoor living.
Some television shows are great at helping people sort out certain rooms in their homes, DIYSOS is one of these shows, for example if the contestant needs a new kitchen, then they will get a new kitchen, the only catch is that the owner of the home has little say in what the finished room will look like. Everything about the room including the colour scheme is decided by the designer. DIYSOS is a great television programme, and at the end the home owner is usually over the moon with what they have done to the house. There are other shows which do not have the same effect.
Changing rooms was one of these shows. Neighbouring households used to put their name forward to decorate each others homes. The designers Linda Barker Laurence Llewelyn-bowen and others used to take it in turns to make the chosen room look magnificent. The only problem was, that they usually went against what ever the home owner liked. So if the home owner was to say the despised blue, the changing rooms team would go out of their way to make sure the room was blue. Sometimes it worked and the homeowner appreciated the room, other times they absolutely hated the room, and they could not hide their sorrow when they saw what the designers had done to the room.
Other television shows go to the extreme to make the homeowner happy, and they even include a make over of the outside, which often includes gas barbecue (gas grill).
