The State Treasurer's Office is required to annually publish investment policies for the Illinois Funds Money Market Fund and Prime Fund. The policies were developed when the funds were originally rated, in 1985 and 2000, respectively, and can be updated at the Treasurer's discretion. The policies' objective is to ensure the state's investments are safe, liquid and valuable. (Investment policies updated 12/19/07.)
